Re: Financial Aid Adjustment Request for Student Veteran
(ID# L0001123)

Dear Financial Aid Officer,

I am a student veteran currently enrolled for Fall Semester at Longwood. My Longwood CID number is included above for your convenience in accessing my records. I am writing to request an adjustment to my individual financial aid budget and award for the academic year Fall 200_ and Spring 200_.

I have encountered additional expenses not covered by my current financial aid budget. These uncovered expenses, as well as a summary of my overall expenses, are detailed in the attached itemized expense list.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information. I'd be happy to schedule an appointment with you if needed.

Thank you in advance for your help in this matter, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Student A. Veteran

Explanation for Additional Expenses:

I was unable to find work in Farmville, so I travel to Richmond for a part-time job. This has resulted in increased expenses in gas and food. Also my textbooks cost more this semester than anticipated. I have attached receipts for all the textbooks and supplies purchased for this semester's classes.
